Hey everyone, i just wanted to let you fellow herpers know that todays meeting about HR2811 was postponed until tomorrow at 10 am. This gives us more opprotunities to call and make sure that this ban does not go forward!!!! please people push to keep your animals that we love so much, The only way this can happen is through the support of the community. dont sit back and let the government tell us that we cant own a reptile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!

I called NY as well, and for them to say no1 from ny called until you did is messed up. Our supposed co-sponsers arent taking this as a serious matter and sitting back and doing other things. Its not right or just what so ever.

Hopefully more people will call in, when I called the NY congressmen on the co sponsor list today (i've been calling every day for the past 3) i was told by his aide i was the first person from NY to call them, I remarked that I've been calling the past few days and was told no note was taken, these people aren't listening very well. We need more numbers calling these people non stop.

I agree, we all need to be unitified. While I have made my calls and have encouraged many people to do the same. I think tomorrows hearing is still one step in a process. We need to take tomorrow very serious, but realize the battle is long and understand that it is not won or loss in one day. So whether it's good or bad news, my feelings are it will either be no news or bad news. We can still make an impact going forward. We still have the senate (s373) side where it is going to be much harder to pass. I'll keep cheerleading as well! Good job! Brian(Sbtv)
